Directions

Performances of Confabulation will be taking place at the Arden’s Hamilton Family Arts Center in Old City.

Old City is a highly accessible area of the city for multiple different methods of transportation, including by car, bus, and subway. Directions for each of these methods can be found below.

Traveling by Car?

+ USING I-95 SOUTH:

Use right two lanes for Exit 22 (Central Phila / Independence Hall / Callowhill St). Keep right to continue towards I-676 East (Ben Franklin Bridge / Independence Hall / Callowhill St). Continue straight on 2nd Street for about half a mile. Just after Arch Street, Hamilton Family Arts Center will be on your right.

+ USING I-95 NORTH:

Use left two lanes for Exit 22 and keep right after the exit to continue towards I-676 East (Ben Franklin Bridge / Independence Hall / Callowhill St). Turn left onto 4th Street, left again onto Race Street, then right onto 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street for about half a mile. Just after Arch Street, Hamilton Family Arts Center will be on your right.

+ USING I-76 / I-676:

Follow signs for I-676 E. Use the right lane to take the I-676 E/US-30 E exit toward Ben Franklin Bridge. Merge on to 6th Street in the center lane, then turn left at the first light on to Race Street. (NOTE: The left two lanes will put you on the Ben Franklin Bridge into New Jersey; be sure to stay in the center lane!) Turn right on 2nd Street. After about half a mile, just after Arch Street, Hamilton Family Arts Center will be on your right.

Parking Recommendations: There is a manned Park America lot behind CCNH. This lot is subject to availability. We do not provide vouchers or validation. Various additional parking lots and garages are available nearby as well; see this list of recommendations provided by our friends at the Arden.

Street parking in the area is also available, but is metered and limited. Check signs for more info on metering days and hours. We recommend using a spot reservation app like SpotHero for assistance.

Taxi and ride-share services are also an option as well to avoid the stress of finding parking. (i.e. Uber, Lyft, 215 - GET A CAB, etc.)
